Now that it's Spring there are a plethora of bugs/insects out and about to observe. This morning, Emmi, Graycen and I talked about how ants are such hard workers and we observed a particular ant roaming around our yard.
Awhile later I was cleaning out our van, and overheard this...
Graycen: "(gasp) Emmi! What did you do to our ant?!!"
Emmi: "I smooshed him. He was just to big and he didn't have any friends."
Graycen: "Em, that is so mean."
Emmi: "Why?"
Graycen: "Because Mommy said ants are hard work for God to make."
Ummm...Emmi, yes, that was mean and a little extreme and so totally unlike you. And Graycen, you completely misunderstood that lesson. Now to do some explaining.
