.random updates.

• the kids and i are sick. graycen and me being the worst. i took graycen in to the doctor yesterday and he has pretty bad ear infections in both ears and a sinus infection, and on top of that a nasty cough...poor guy. i just have a bad "cold" and i think i have a sinus infection that started today...yuk. b and emmi have scaled down versions of what graycen and i have. and tim...well...he isn't sick! thank you god for protecting him!


• still without a coffee maker...could this be the reason for my headaches?! no!


• we went to severs corn maze this past weekend. it was so much fun, and i brought my nice camera and took tons of cute pictures....then towards the end of the day realized that my flash card was in the van. (for those of you who don't know, a flash card is a memory card that holds all of your pictures.) i was so upset, i started crying. after a big hug from tim and encouragement that today is not about getting pictures but spending time together as a family and making memories, i felt a little better, but i'm still bummed we don't have any pictures to go along with that memory. we did have lots of fun though. the kids rode some ponies and got to pet and feed some animals....deer, kangaroos, donkey, cows, goats, ostrich, antelope, monkeys. not your typical "petting zoo" animals --there was even a tiger cub! we didn't get to feed or pet that, of course, but it was pretty cute! they also went down a HUGE slide, played in a pool of corn kernels, went through a kiddie hay bale maze, and through the actual corn maze, and of course...ate corn.


• graycen is waving bye now, says 'uh oh' (sometimes), and put a phone up to his hear and says "ha". he also has learned how to go up and down the stairs...finally. this was a scary thing for me...we've never had stairs with the other two as babies so it was a new thing.


• for our adult small group we are memorizing colossians 1:15-23 and we decided to have the kids memorize it along with us...they're doing better than we are. especially b, he corrects me often and gives me helper words when i need it.
• it's tim's 30th birthday tomorrow so it will be a fun weekend!

um that's all my sick head can think of right now. i'm off to take a nap! oh, and i can't leave you without at least one picture so here is a random one of graycen wearing one of my favorite shirts :-)
