new house

Well, we are finally moved in and almost unpacked! We are loving our new home and looking forward to what God has for us here. We have met a bunch of our neighbors and they are all very nice. There is a family right across the sidewalk that has 5 yr. old twins, a boy and a girl, that B and Emmi are having a blast with. There are also a number of boys here for B to play with that are a bit older, but just what he needs. It has been so nice for him to finally have some boys to play with...all of our other neighbors have been girls. The other day he was outside playing football with them!! So cute! Boys are sooo different than girls. All of the kids have been doing very well with the move. B has asked a couple times to go back to our old house, but that was more at first when there were still boxes everywhere and it was a bit chaotic...he doesn't do well when things are out of order. But now it's starting to feel like home to him and with all the new friends and a park pretty much right out our back door...he is loving it! Emmi and Graycen have been just going with the flow.

Thanks to all who helped us move, and all the wives and families who let their hubbies come help us move for a big chunk of their Labor Day---they served us so well!!

Here are some pictures of our new place (don't mind the random piles of stuff), and some of the kids playing...

Huddle...I wonder what they were saying.

Checking in on B after a tackle...He was fine and actually laughing! The boy leaning down right next to him is Jordan...our other neighbor across the sidewalk who calls B "little man".

It's so nice to finally have a sidewalk for the kids to ride their bikes. Before our driveway was steep so they couldn't ride on the driveway, so they didn't get to ride them much. Hopefully now B can get his training wheels off now that he's had tons of practice!

More pics to come...when I get another spare moment!
