como zoo

last Saturday, we went to como zoo! it was a beautiful day! once we finally found a parking spot, it was next to a tree where b found a caterpillar crawling on it. Tim took it off and both the kids took turns holding it. of course, emmi wanted to carry it around all day and kiss it bring it home, but it went back on the tree. when we put it back, we noticed that there were hundreds of them all over the trunk of this little tree (don't know why, but we didn't get a pic of that). for some reason, it really creeped me out and gave the itchies all over...yuk!

they were so cute...b was taking such good care of her

on the giraffes..while tim was taking this picture i noticed there was a sign below them that said "thank you for not climbing." ha ha...oops!

on the turtle...emmi also wanted to take this home and was having a conversation with it!

outside of the zoo there is a carousel that is 90-some years old! tim and b and emmi rode it, but it went so fast i could barely get a picture...this is the best i could do.

That reminds me of the army worms (even though they look like catepillars) that Peter and I encountered on our honeymoon. There were millions of them all over the trees and on the roads up north. It was disgusting and you know how I feel about bugs!! :-)

Too cute! Those are sorta like that ones that we had all over outside out house earlier this spring!

Brings back memories of when Lindsey was born sooooo long ago. Marion and I took you to the zoo. Have pictures and will try to remember to send them to you.

We just love the pictures, and they're even better now that they get BIG when you click on them. Cool!!!
